At Antioch, that challenge is lived out through women who come together to support one another in mission opportunities. We believe it is our purpose to serve through missions and to point the church as a whole towards mission giving and service. You might find us helping with backpack buddies, throwing a shower for AGAPE Pregnancy Center, encouraging others to give to North American and International Missions, or just rolling up our sleeves and doing the sometimes hard, but always fulfilling work of local missions.
You will see WMU alive and well at Antioch in monthly meetings and through our support of Children on Missions, our weekly children's missions program that teaches children about missionaries but also puts them to work at the local level doing mission projects. Through these projects, our children get to experience what it means to make a difference for Christ first hand. We don't just talk missions, we do missions at Antioch, and that mission's identity is an inextricable part of who we are as a people and as a church.
